We had a superb evening being shown around the restaurants near Shibuya with Adam and Kai.
Having Adam’s expertise at knowing where to go made for a really informative evening in
restaurants we probably wouldn’t have found ourselves.
It’s definitely worth considering this tour as soon as possible after arriving in Tokyo as there was so
much to learn about Japanese dining culture the types of food, how to ask for various dishes and
what to expect.

My partner and I enjoyed hanging out with our expert tour guide, Chisato, in Akihabara! She took us through various anime shops where we purchased figurines, collectible cards, apparel, and other merch. We also stopped at a few restaurants (including the maid cafe), so bring your appetite! This was my second time visiting Japan, so I’m still learning about Japanese cuisine. Chisato was so kind and helpful in explaining how to eat the food properly. , this tour is definitely for you! I 100% recommend it!

Hamada was a great leader and I’m grateful for his guidance. He was communicative, on-time, positive/upbeat, friendly, informative, and a pleasure to spend time with. I not only ate some delicious food but learned a lot about the culture of eating and living in Japan, which he provides from a unique perspective. The route was organized, but he also found time and space to let me freestyle a bit with a quick errand I needed done. Hamada left me with a very generous to-go gift that was very unexpected.

We participated in the tour as a family of four, including our two children aged four and six. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious sushi, Yakiniku, and desserts, leaving us all happily full. Although our two energetic sons were a bit noisy at times, our guide was very kind and accommodating. It was especially appreciated that children could join for free, truly making it a kid-friendly tour. I highly recommend it to everyone, whether you’re traveling with children or not. Thank you very much.
